Dawn and Mike Wheeler

Christ Agape Collective

In 1990, Dawn and Mike brought their life and marriage to Kansas City from Atlanta.  Mike was the youngest Regional Manager in the history of the Life Data Corporation and the stress of the job brought my life, including my marriage, to a crossroads. Dawn was pregnant with their second child. Desperate for some kind of normalcy and peace in their live they started attending the church Dawn’s mother attended. "Week in and week out the pastor seemed to have answers for all of my questions. After a month of attending, the pastor gave an altar call and both Dawn and I went forward with tears in our eyes to receive Christ."

"We have served God faithfully since and raised our children in the fear and admonition of the Lord. We began to sense the call to minister 20 years ago and we began to lead worship for churches, prisons, marriage seminars anywhere that Christians wanted to connect with God and sense His presence in worship."

Dawn and Mike have been married for 30 years and have 5 grown children. Mike has been self-employed and bi-vocational during that time doing on-site wellness services and blood screening. Dawn homeschooled their children and handles the administrative side of the business. Dawn is a certified Zumba instructor and training currently to be a Yoga instructor. Both are active in CrossFit and currently play in the Mike Wheeler Band.

The mission in Edwardsville is simple, preach Christ and lead others into a fulfilling relationship with the risen Savior, teach them to live and operate daily in the Agape love that the father has for each one of use, and provide a Christ centered community to people empowering them to be the church
